Cosmetic dentist, Cyprus — Dr Andreas Varianos. Trained in Cologne.
Practising in Cyprus.
A general dentist working mainly in aesthetic and restorative dentistry — ceramics, implants and full-mouth rehabilitation — at Trinity Dental Center in Xylofagou, Cyprus.
Dr. Andreas Varianos
I qualified as a Doctor of Dental Medicine at the University of Cologne and went on to complete continuing education in implantology at New York University. I practise at Trinity Dental Center in Xylofagou, between Larnaca and Ayia Napa.
Two things shaped how I work. The German training left me with a low tolerance for approximation — a margin, an occlusion and a shade are either right or they are not, and the patient can usually tell even when they can't say why. The implantology gave me the other half of the picture: how to rebuild a mouth when there isn't much left to rebuild it from.
Most of what I do sits between those two. Ceramic work where the standard is that nobody can tell it has been done, and reconstructive work where the standard is that somebody can eat properly again and stop covering their mouth in photographs.
I photograph nearly every case and publish it. Partly because it keeps me honest, and partly because it is the only way a patient can judge a dentist before they are already in the chair.

Dentistry at Trinity Dental Center. What the work
actually is.
Six areas, but they overlap constantly. A single discoloured front tooth can be an endodontic problem, a restorative problem and an aesthetic one at the same time — which is the argument for one clinician planning the whole thing.
- Ceramic veneers and crowns in lithium disilicate and zirconia
- Composite bonding and direct restorations
- Guided implant placement, single units to full arch
- Screw-retained implant bridges
- Full-mouth rehabilitation, planned in stages
- Root canal treatment under magnification
- Oral surgery and pre-implant preparation
- Laser dentistry for soft-tissue work

Fully digital workflow — scanning, planning, guided placement

Laser dentistry
How dental treatment runs. Four steps,
no surprises.
You will know the plan and the cost before anything irreversible happens. That is the whole method.
Conversation
A message, a photograph, or a first appointment. We establish what is bothering you and whether I am the right person to fix it.
Records
Photographs, X-rays and a digital scan. Everything is planned on screen before a handpiece is picked up.
Plan and costs
A written plan with the options, the sequence, the number of visits and the price. You take it away and think about it.
Treatment and review
The work itself, then a review appointment, and photographs at the end so you can see exactly what changed.
